Melissa is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) with over 10 years’ experience in construction, energy, infrastructure, and insurance-related disputes. She specialises in quantum analysis, forensic cost assessment, and expert advisory services across adjudication, arbitration, and litigation. Melissa has acted both in support of senior experts and as an appointed expert witness, delivering independent quantum opinions on complex remediation, variation, and prolongation claims. Her experience spans the UK, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and APAC, with particular expertise in energy and high-value remedial works. She holds an MSc in Quantity Surveying and is currently pursuing an LLM/MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, she also has conversational proficiency in Italian and Japanese.
